We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Financial Controller to join our client's team in Richardson, Texas. This role is pivotal in driving financial stability, ensuring compliance, and supporting scalable growth through robust financial operations. The ideal candidate will provide insightful analysis and recommendations to guide strategic decision-making, while fostering a high-performance culture within the finance and accounting teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with senior leadership to shape and execute the company’s financial strategy and operational goals
  • Oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, encouraging attention to detail and operational excellence
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and strategic planning initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining accurate financial records and reporting
  • Manage internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance accountability
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and performance insights to the executive team
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvements, and profitability enhancement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and oversee investment strategies
  • Monitor risk management practices and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with 3+ years in a controller role, including team management
  • Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Strong knowledge of accounting procedures, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to diverse audiences
  • Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset and servant leadership approach

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree a plus
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Power BI preferred
  • Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Multisite industry highly preferred
