Reporting directly to the regional executive leadership, the Financial Controller will be the ultimate custodian of the company’s financial integrity. While you will oversee standard finance operations—including regional reporting, consolidation, and tax—your primary mandate will be the continuous review, enhancement, and monitoring of corporate financial policies. You will ensure that internal controls and financial governance keep pace with the company's fast-evolving, multi-country business model.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the continuous assessment, drafting, and updating of the company's financial policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and internal control frameworks across all regional entities
Establish robust monitoring mechanisms to ensure strict adherence to updated financial policies, identifying control gaps and mitigating risks related to rapid operational scaling
Act as the central authority for policy interpretation
Roll out new financial protocols and provide comprehensive training to cross-functional teams to ensure a culture of compliance
Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and group consolidations, ensuring all reporting aligns with the latest statutory and internal policy requirements
Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies
Drive the immediate remediation of any audit findings by implementing targeted, sustainable policy updates
Advise the executive board on the financial and risk implications of new business initiatives, proposing proactive policy adjustments to support sustainable, compliant growth
Requirements:
Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
At least 3–5 years in a Financial Controller or similar regional leadership capacity
Proven, hands-on track record in designing, reviewing, and rolling out comprehensive financial policies, Delegation of Authority (DOA) matrices, and internal controls within a multi-national or complex corporate environment
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
A professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA, MIA, or equivalent) is strictly required
Prior experience in the Technology, SaaS, or IT Consulting sectors is highly advantageous
Exceptional analytical skills with a proactive, risk-based approach
Gravitas and communication skills necessary to enforce policy adoption across diverse regional teams constructively
