We're currently looking for a Financial Control Lead for our office in Stockholm.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Financial Control team across entities in scope
  • Ensure integrity, accuracy, and compliance of accounting records in line with local GAAP and internal standards (AARO)
  • Deliver timely and high-quality monthly and annual financial reporting
  • Review and validate accounting activities, strengthening internal controls and risk mitigation
  • Act as the key point of contact for accounting-related matters across the business
  • Collaborate closely with Controlling, Tax, VAT, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure end-to-end financial excellence
  • Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, systems, and ERP optimization
  • Contribute accounting expertise to M&A projects and integration activities
  • Support and develop team members, fostering high-performance and knowledge sharing
  • Provide clear explanations for material deviations and actively support leadership decision-making

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar
  • 10+ years of experience within financial accounting or financial control, ideally in FMCG or other fast-paced environments
  • Proven experience leading or coordinating finance teams
  • Strong knowledge of local GAAP
  • IFRS is a plus
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end processes (Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, Record-to-Report)
  • Experience working with integrated ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Experience in an international, multi-entity environment
  • Exposure to M&A processes is an advantage
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, growth-oriented organization
