Job Description

We are currently seeking a Financial Business Analyst to be based out of our Secaucus, NJ office. The Financial Business Analyst will serve a critical role in analyzing data and making recommendation to help achieve departmental and company goals. This job plays a critical role in providing insight analysis to multiple departments/functions, such as pricing, cost, procurement, logistics, production, customer operation and finance.

Job Responsibility

  • Audit of financial calculations and data to ensure accuracy, predominately related to customer rebate and reconciliation programs
  • Collection, organization, and manipulation of existing data from various sources to analyze variances and communicate the financial impact
  • Improve financial status by monitoring variances, analyzing results, identifying trends and recommending actions to management
  • Responsible for generating, maintaining, and analyzing reports and data for periodic operational reviews and business process improvements
  • Collaborate with upper level management on the financial and strategic impact of new programs
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of system dependencies, workflows, integrations, and processes of application
  • Identify/recognize problems from various perspectives (cross-org) to understand implications and propose solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance or related fields and 2+ years of experience in financial analysis and data visualization (alternatively a MS degree with 0+ years of experience)
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs (macros a plus)
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and Python data libraries (Pandas, NumPy)
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data‑driven decision‑making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work across multiple teams
  • High adaptability, positive attitude, and consistent drive for high‑quality results
