Amsive is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team and work closely with the manager of Financial planning and Analysis to monitor budget and forecasting. Our ideal candidate will always be looking to increase their understanding of manufacturing, finance, AI tools and uses, and the organization in general. We’re looking for someone who is always thinking of how to improve current processes and analysis to drive a more efficient and effective data reporting structure.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with cross-functional teams (including accounting, operations and procurement) to gather, analyze, and interpret business requirements and data to uncover insights that drive improvement
Perform detailed analysis of business processes and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess current performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements
Identify process bottlenecks and areas for improvement, preparing and implementing solutions to streamline workflows and increase data accuracy
Collaborate with stakeholders to document business needs, translate them into clear requirements, and support the project lifecycle from planning through implementation
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that help stakeholders understand business performance and inform decision-making
Support strategic initiatives by providing research, benchmark data, and scenario analysis to inform business strategy
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, data analysis, operations analysis, or a related role (preferably in a high-growth or technology environment)
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to draw insights from complex data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Strong proficiency with data tools and reporting software (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI)
Strong interest to evaluate and leverage AI use cases and technologies to improve data reporting efficiency and generate automated, actionable insights into financial and operational performance
Comfortable taking initiative and working independently and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
Team-oriented mindset with a dedication to supporting cross-organizational success
