Financial Associate

• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients both in person and over the phone
• Assist patients with billing inquiries, payment processing, and account resolution
• Help patients navigate Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance claims and payment issues
• Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and patient benefits
• Support medical billing and patient financial services functions
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments in a high-volume environment
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient patient flow and accurate documentation
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and office procedures
• Address patient concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
• Support additional administrative and operational duties as needed

• 3+ years of experience in a medical office, healthcare administration, medical billing, or patient financial services role
• Strong understanding of medical insurance billing, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Experience with EMR systems and patient scheduling software
• Familiarity with commercial insurance claims and reimbursement processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
