We’re looking for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our Finance and TPD team. In this hands-on role you’ll keep the financial engine running — managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank accounts, and supporting our legal teams with billing and disbursement reporting.
Job Responsibility:
Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time
Verify and enter Trust and Business account deposits
process Trust-to-Business payments
Prepare lump sum client bills, disbursement lists, and cost outstanding reports
Reconcile company bank accounts monthly and assist with GST and EOFY reporting
Liaise with the firm’s costing company and support cost consultants with required information
Maintain financial records and the Accounts Payable Manual
Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required
Requirements:
Year 12 or equivalent
Solid Microsoft Excel and Word skills
High attention to detail and comfort working with numbers day-to-day
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude
Discretion when handling confidential client and financial information
