Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced Reporting Analyst to join their Financial and Regulatory Reporting team. This role sits within a high-impact group responsible for delivering regulatory reporting across Canada, supporting compliance with key governing bodies such as Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, Statistics Canada, and Bank of Canada. The successful candidate will focus on developing, enhancing, and maintaining procedure documentation for regulatory reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with both internal standards and external regulatory expectations.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, update, and maintain detailed procedure documentation for regulatory reporting processes
Ensure documentation aligns with regulatory requirements from OSFI, Statistics Canada, and the Bank of Canada
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and validate reporting workflows
Review and enhance existing documentation to reflect process updates and improve clarity and consistency
Maintain version control and ensure proper change management practices are followed
Ensure all documentation adheres to internal standards and audit expectations
Support data validation and quality assurance processes related to regulatory reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
3+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, compliance, or financial documentation within banking or financial services
Strong understanding of Canadian regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., P3, M4, Z4 filings)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), SharePoint, Confluence, and AI tools
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to translate complex processes into clear, structured documentation
Nice to have:
Professional designation such as CPA, CMA, CA, CGA, or CFA
Experience working within large financial institutions or enterprise reporting environments
