Job Description:

Full time role working 40 hours per week with ADO. Fixed term position until August 2027. Heidelberg location, with multiple public transport options. As a Finance Analyst you will support the annual budgeting, forecasting and monthly internal Financial Reporting and Analysis for Austin Health.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and manage month end reports for the Finance Business Partnering team and the Financial Planning and Analysis team
  • Standardise and maintain reporting and costing templates
  • Prepare analysis on monthly and year-to-date financial results against budget and forecast
  • Support the continuous improvement of organisational processes, procedures, systems and reporting
  • Support the coordinated end-to-end budget process
  • Support the month end reporting process
  • Support the annual budget and forecast processes including development and maintenance of databases and templates
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support efficient utilisation of resources

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (either a member of CA, CPA (or equivalent)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, accounting, economics, law, administration, finance or a similar area
  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to identify trends, issues and opportunities
  • High quality skills in managing a customer service role in providing budget advice and financial management services
  • Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to develop innovative solutions to problems
  • Experience and proficiency in Excel and other computer skills (Power Pivot and Power Query experience desirable)
