Job Description:

We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Finance professional to join a growing non-profit organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, supporting audits, and ensuring the integrity of financial statements. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in accounting and finance, hands-on experience with audit processes, and familiarity with tools such as Rippling and QuickBooks.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Manage and support external audit processes, including audit preparation and coordination with auditors
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards
  • Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes
  • Utilize QuickBooks for day-to-day accounting and financial management
  • Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
  • Maintain internal controls and improve financial processes where needed
  • Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred for Director-level candidates)
  • 4+ years of experience (Analyst)
  • Prior experience in a non-profit environment strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with audited financial statements and audit support
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with Rippling or similar systems
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • High level of reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with leadership
