Job Description

Robert Half is looking for a financial analyst to join a well-known company. This is an entry-level to early-career role best suited for someone with strong data entry skills, solid attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. The Financial Analyst will primarily support the team through high-volume data entry and validation of financial information. The role will involve reviewing P&L data from revenue through gross profit, identifying discrepancies, and helping research root causes. This position does not require advanced reporting or BI tools, but candidates should be comfortable working in Excel and asking questions to ensure accuracy.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness
  • Review and update financial data in internal systems and spreadsheets
  • Work with P&L information, including revenue through gross profit
  • Identify errors, inconsistencies, or missing data and help investigate root causes
  • Support the team with data validation and basic financial analysis
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with internal partners
  • Proactively ask questions when clarification is needed
  • Use Excel and SAP TPM to maintain and track information

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of related experience in financial analysis, data entry, or similar support work
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Experience working with financial data and basic understanding of P&L concepts
  • Moderate Excel skills
  • Comfortable performing repetitive, data-heavy work
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • Able to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining Pacific time zone hours
  • Experience with SAP Trade Promotion Management (TPM) is a plus
  • Trade funds knowledge is a plus
