We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our consultancy team in San Diego, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting financial planning and analysis, managing budgets, and delivering insightful data-driven recommendations. Job Responsibility:
Perform financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making
Assist in preparing and maintaining budgets and forecasts
Analyze variances and trends to identify key insights and opportunities
Utilize data mining techniques to extract and interpret large datasets
Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial guidance and recommendations
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau
Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business questions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or similar analytical roles
Proven ability to manage budgets and forecasts effectively
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with large datasets
Exceptional attention to detail and accountability for deliverables
Familiarity with subscription-based or recurring revenue business models is a plus
Experience with BI360 (Solver), Great Plains, Tableau, or Salesforce is preferred
Strong interpersonal skills for partnering directly with business stakeholders
