Financial Analyst

• Partner directly with the CFO to support bid pricing strategies, financial analysis, and executive-level reporting
• Review bid documents, scope requirements, and pricing guides to develop accurate costing and pricing models
• Build and maintain complex Excel-based pricing frameworks, forecasting models, and financial analysis tools
• Collaborate closely with Operations and internal stakeholders to gather information impacting pricing and profitability
• Conduct cost and margin analysis to support competitive bid submissions and strategic business decisions
• Translate pricing structures into customer submission templates and bid matrices
• Present pricing assumptions, methodologies, and financial insights to leadership teams
• Maintain and update existing reporting structures while developing new reports from scratch as required
• Analyze ad hoc pricing requests, service changes, and operational cost adjustments
• Support executive meetings involving live spreadsheet reviews, financial discussions, and strategic planning initiatives
• Handle confidential financial data with professionalism and discretion

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Financial Analyst, Pricing Analyst, Estimating, or related analytical finance role
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create, maintain, and troubleshoot complex formulas and reporting models
• Strong understanding of cost analysis, pricing strategy, forecasting, and margin analysis
• Comfortable presenting financial data and supporting executive-level decision-making
• Strong business acumen with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished and professional approach
• Ability to work directly with senior leadership and provide concise, accurate insights under pressure
• Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization abilities
• Experience within entrepreneurial, operationally driven, or mid-sized business environments is considered an asset
• Professional, accountable, and adaptable with a high sense of urgency and responsiveness

• 2 month contract with strong potential for permanent conversion
