The Junior Financial Analyst will support budget execution, financial reporting, audit readiness, and contract reconciliation activities for U.S. Air Force programs, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records and documentation. This role involves tracking and forecasting expenditures, managing Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs), supporting reimbursable funds management, and collaborating with government stakeholders to ensure effective financial program execution.
Job Responsibility
Support budget execution, financial reporting, audit readiness, and contract reconciliation activities for U.S. Air Force programs
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and documentation
Track and forecast expenditures
Manage Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs)
Support reimbursable funds management
Collaborate with government stakeholders
Develop/maintain financial records
Interact with other government agencies
Prepare financial documents
Support financial audits
Perform contract reconciliation and closeout functions
Requirements
Proficient in M/S Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Experience with DoD financial systems (SAFES, CRIS, CCaR, ABSS, SDW/EDA, MOCAS) a plus
Excellent verbal communication, written, and quantitative analytical skills
Ability to work in a team environment
1-5 years of combined industry and government acquisition experience
Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics
Ability to learn US Air Force Financial Management processes, accounting and payment systems, and Reimbursable funds management
Current knowledge of DoD program management execution support highly desirable
Experience with CCaR system desired
Must be able to obtain proper security clearance
U.S. citizenship required
