We are working with a well-established Oklahoma City company that is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis. This individual will serve as a strategic resource for leadership by providing financial insight, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting organizational financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, advanced accounting knowledge, and experience working within complex financial environments. This is a full-time, on-site position with a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Job Responsibility
Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial and statistical reports for leadership review
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Develop profitability reporting and financial models to support decision-making
Analyze operational and manufacturing-related costs to improve efficiency and reduce expenses
Support internal controls and review accounting transactions for accuracy and compliance
Assist with the implementation of accounting standards and audit preparation activities
Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and supporting schedules
Collaborate with department leaders to provide financial guidance and operational analysis
Support annual audit processes and preparation of audit work papers
Maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational information
Provide backup support for key accounting and finance leadership functions as needed
Assist with administration and reporting related to employee benefit plans and compliance activities
Requirements
4+ years of accounting or financial analyst work experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
CPA designation or eligibility preferred but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and other related financial and analytical accrual-based accounting systems
