Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in New York, New York. In this role, you will support key financial processes and contribute to various analytical tasks within the entertainment industry. Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and organize financial data for artist statements, including running reports, updating schedules, and maintaining cost trackers
  • Oversee the artist merchandise invoicing process by collaborating with product managers, reconciling data, and ensuring accurate tracking
  • Maintain and update the master financial coding list for merchandise business while supporting invoice coding for shared services
  • Contribute to the month-end close process by generating reports, reconciling data, and updating relevant schedules and trackers
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial analysis by running reports, updating schedules, and examining account balances
  • Track vendor expenditures and assist in budgeting and forecasting for operating and capital expenses
  • Support financial transformation projects by contributing to process improvements and system updates

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or auditing roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including SUMIFS and VLOOKUP
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
