Job Description:

This job is a Cash application and allocation position, which is part of Upstream Americas Controllers organization. Responsible for delivery of key finance processes. FO drives value by delivering end-to-end operational excellence, capturing the integration value of being part , and matching the operational performance of the best external providers. Delivery is driven through a strong performance culture focused on business/process outcomes, at a sustainable cost level.

Job Responsibility:

Monitor all cash GLs and ensure that receipts are applied timely and appropriately
Ensure receipts are allocated accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with target SLA
Perform thorough analysis of deferred accounts and ensure integrity of account data through status of accounts and reporting compliance
Reply to various audit and stakeholder requests as well as in-house audits as necessary
Participate in systems testing as necessary (CPRA, PRA & other testing for S4 Implementation)
Ensure that processes are fit for purpose and that simplification and standardization become the ways of working
Operate controls effectively, maintaining appropriate documentation to evidence those controls as required for SOX compliance
Reply to various external audit and stakeholder requests as well as in-house audits as necessary
Ensure that MJEs prepared are aligned with MJE global policy

Requirements:

Bachelor's/College Degree holder (Finance/Accounting)
3-5 years of experience in related accounting processes or upstream background
Previous work experience in an SAP environment is an added advantage
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence others through effective communications and provide the necessary challenge to Line Management
Able to handle multiple priorities
Strong customer focus and commitment to continuous improvement
Effective time management and organizational skills and able to independently set priorities
Able to adapt to new or changing circumstances and ambiguous or pressured situations
