Financial Analyst

• Conduct financial modeling on various financial products
• Measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans
• Advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives
• Prepare reports for management
• Work in areas including forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management
• Support world class strategic and financial planning methods
• Build long-range operating plans to support business imperatives
• Develop rolling forecast processes to ensure resources every quarter are consumed at maximum effectiveness
• Assist with operationalizing and cultivating a more data-driven planning process and improved monthly and quarterly reporting
• Coordinate various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks)
• Provide strategic analyses and recommendations
• Provide variance analysis of bookings, revenues and expenses, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments
• Work closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
• Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
• Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives through the development of financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
• Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
• Recognize potential risks and opportunities while analyzing performance to date
• Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
• Execute and monitor forecasting reports
• Track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations to ensure business partners handle their resources
• Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
• Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process

• Bachelors in Accounting, finance or related field
• 2 years plus financial modeling experience
• Solid excel skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools experience a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
