Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In this contract to a possible permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate reconciliations. This opportunity offers the chance to work within a collaborative team environment.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions for data analysis and reporting
Analyze monthly variances to identify trends and provide actionable insights
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Utilize corporate accounting skills for the department

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate finance or accounting
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required
Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions
Prior experience in healthcare or medical finance is preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
