We are seeking a driven and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Engagement Professional Practice Group. This is a full-time, hybrid role supporting clients in the San Mateo and Palo Alto areas. As an Engagement Professional, you will be a full-time employee of Robert Half, working on a variety of client engagements while benefiting from consistent pay, stability, and professional growth.
Job Responsibility:
Analyze financial data to support business decisions, forecasting, and strategic planning
Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
Build and update financial models to evaluate performance and business opportunities
Develop dashboards and reports for management and stakeholders
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide insights
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends or risks
Support month-end and quarter-end close processes
Assist with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems
Ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related field
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling)
Experience with financial systems such as Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, NetSuite, or similar
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to different client environments
High attention to detail and accuracy
