Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in SLC, Utah. This permanent, in-office role offers an opportunity to contribute to financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with regulations, and the identification of opportunities for growth and improvement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for operational improvements
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
  • Manage daily treasury operations, such as international cash funding and cash flow forecasting
  • Support global payroll processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Record journal entries and reconcile accounts to maintain the integrity of financial data
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial records in compliance with relevant standards
  • Investigate discrepancies in financial transactions and resolve variances effectively
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure alignment with financial objectives
  • Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving capabilities
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate results
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Adaptability to evolving financial regulations and emerging technologies
