We are looking for a motivated Financial Analyst to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This role is essential in supporting financial operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to drive meaningful financial insights.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in monthly financial close activities, ensuring accurate consolidation and variance analysis
Develop forecasts and manage the annual budgeting process while providing detailed insights
Partner with teams such as Real Estate, Store Operations, and Construction to monitor changes within the real estate portfolio
Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports and deliverables, including ad hoc analyses tailored to business needs
Collaborate with the Accounting team during month-end processes to review actuals and identify discrepancies compared to forecasts and prior periods
Design, refine, and manage complex financial models to support decision-making and reporting needs
Automate forecasting and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
Analyze large datasets from diverse sources to uncover trends and provide actionable recommendations to senior management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis or a similar role
Proficiency in financial modeling and variance analysis
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in formulas and data manipulation
Familiarity with data mining techniques and handling large datasets
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting findings
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
