Job Description

Suppliers; remote worker must commit to east coast hours

Job Responsibility

  • Support plant finance function within Operation finance
  • Collaborate with cost center & plant manager, functional leaders & Finance Business Partners in developing annual budgets/quarterly projections
  • including clear documentation of assumptions & posting in JDE ERP System
  • Own cost accounting function for manufacturing plants
  • Record month-end journal entries (accruals, reclasses, charge in/outs, & prepaid amortization) for all cost centers supported
  • ensure accurate reporting of financial results in JDE
  • Analyze financial variances for cost center actuals, projections, and budget
  • Compile Month-End Balance Sheet account reconciliations
  • Support inventory accounting and inventory reserve analysis
  • Ad-hoc analytical support for cost center managers on an as-needed basis
  • Provide project support for continuous improvement for the group as a whole

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 2+ years of experience - Financial analysis / Accounting
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a face-paced, challenging environment
  • strong attention to detail
  • Self-driven, proactive, and seeks continuous improvement
  • JDE or SAP
  • Strong Inventory /Cost accounting
  • General Ledger, Forecasting, Balance Sheet, for the surgical unit
  • 2 ++ years experience we want someone to hit the ground running
