Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join a leading financial services firm in Dallas, Texas. In this Contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent, you will play a pivotal role in preparing financial illustrations, supporting commission accounting, and performing detailed financial analyses for high-net-worth clients. This role offers the opportunity to utilize advanced analytical skills in a dynamic environment, with potential for hybrid flexibility after an initial onsite training period.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain life insurance policy illustrations to guide decision-making for high-net-worth clients
  • Analyze and manage complex financial data, including payout projections and policy scenarios, ensuring accuracy and reliability
  • Perform commission accounting tasks, including calculations and reporting
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to deliver timely and precise financial analyses
  • Enhance existing tools and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, and occasionally interact with high-net-worth clients to address inquiries and provide clarity
  • Identify and address discrepancies or issues in financial data, escalating concerns when necessary
  • Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of professionalism and precision
  • Support the evaluation of policy structures, premiums, and long-term financial projections

Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including expertise with VLOOKUPs and complex spreadsheet functions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, error-free work
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on detail and accuracy
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively within a team
  • Solid problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and seeking clarification when needed
  • Previous experience in financial analysis or data-intensive roles is highly desirable
