Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to support our manufacturing operations at the Carson Plant. This role provides financial planning, analysis, and reporting to guide strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, and operational finance, and will work onsite with cross-functional teams at our Carson, California facility.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for manufacturing operations, including production costs, overhead, and capital expenditures
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, identify drivers, and recommend cost reduction and efficiency improvements
  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support operational decisions
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to provide financial guidance and support initiatives
  • Conduct variance analysis, evaluate capital investments, and support ad-hoc financial modeling and reporting projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 3+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and their application in manufacturing
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
  • advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and financial reporting tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • able to work independently and collaboratively

Nice to have:

  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
