Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst/Manager to join our team in Buellton, California. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical financial operations, performance analysis, and strategic initiatives that drive organizational success. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities and leadership skills while thriving in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage cash flow positions, borrowing requirements, and investment opportunities to ensure optimal financial operations
  • Analyze financial and operational performance of portfolio companies, identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning efforts
  • Develop and implement standardized reporting tools, dashboards, and analyses for internal stakeholders and investors
  • Conduct benchmarking and scenario modeling to evaluate business performance and potential acquisition strategies
  • Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly reports on investment data, including tribal investment funds
  • Monitor treasury activities, including bank accounts, stock trades, bond settlements, and real estate transactions managed by third parties
  • Review enterprise contracts to assess financial terms and conditions and their impact on operations
  • Provide in-depth financial analysis related to real estate assets, including performance tracking and reporting
  • Participate in strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, working capital optimization, and exit strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable but not mandatory
  • Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and internal controls
  • Familiarity with industries such as manufacturing, property accounting, or real estate is preferred
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, valuation, and data visualization
  • Proficiency in financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, Cognos, Anaplan, and Power BI
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights
