As an IT Financial Analyst supporting our Global Data and Technology Services (GDATS), you will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making processes. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to handle complex datasets while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibility:
Financial Planning & Analysis: Input and manage financial data related to Plan, Estimate, and Long Range Plan (LRP) into our internal planning systems such as Apptio, Vena or excel models
Data Reconciliation: Reconcile data from various systems such as SAP, Clarity, Workday, etc. Identify discrepancies, conduct analysis, and collaborate with the finance team to resolve issues
Variance Reporting: Identify and report on variances/changes by reconciling data with source systems like SAP & Clarity. Provide in-depth analysis of deviations
Expense Management: Oversee operating expenses for various departments including sales, operations, analytics, and commercial support organizations that drive key distribution channels
Analytical Reporting: Generate year-over-year, quarter-over-quarter, and month-to-date analysis comparing actual results against Plan/Estimate metrics for key expense accounts such as Labor, Travel & Entertainment, Professional Fees, Repairs & Maintenance
Collaboration With Finance Team: Partner with the IT Finance team to ensure timely updates to estimates and provide monthly financial reporting to senior management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
CPA or CFA certification is a plus
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial planning & analysis within a large corporation or global business service environment
Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, etc.
