Financial Analyst II

• Analyze revenue and expenses against budgets and forecasts, preparing detailed reports to highlight trends and variances
• Develop comprehensive event budgets, financial forecasts, and strategic projections to support decision-making
• Collaborate with event teams to establish financial guidelines and ensure timely reporting across the event cycle
• Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies
• Monitor general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and reconcile accounts to maintain financial accuracy
• Provide financial guidance to event teams, including reviewing contracts and mapping financial structures
• Assist with accounts receivable processes, including collections and evaluating bad debt reserves
• Support on-site financial operations during trade shows, including reconciling cash receipts and verifying revenue reports
• Recommend and implement best practices to optimize financial processes and support event teams effectively
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses and reporting as needed to address specific business needs

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting roles
• Proficiency in Oracle Accounting software with 2-3 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of P&L management across multiple revenue and cost streams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and financial reporting standards
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively
