Job Responsibility

  • Performs independent reviews and analysis of financial data in support of the various finance functions
  • Exercises knowledge in the application of accounting principles and technical expertise in financial analysis
  • Analyze major financial statement lines for reasonableness and variances to prior year activity
  • Prepares accounting records and financial statements for audit
  • Analyzes and interprets data, statistics, and financial information
  • Identifies significant differences in relationships among sources of information
  • Conducts specialized financial analysis and research on subjects such as rate of return, working capital, financial and expense performance comparison, and cash administration
  • Prepares reports, providing information related to analyses performed
  • As assigned, assumes responsibility for special projects involving research and planning
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance functional area and less than 1 year of related experience required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to work independently
