Job Description:

We're looking for a skilled Financial Analyst FP&A (and Project mgmt) reporting to join a global financial services leader in downtown Montreal. This role is crucial for supporting the financial performance of eth department. producing budgets, forcast , looking at cost of all kind. Acting as a leader to support the business and provide solutions to ongoing project and budgets variances.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be a Trusted Advisor: You'll partner directly with department leadership, giving them the data and insights they need to succeed commercially
  • Financial Guru: From setting budgets and forecasts to managing invoices, vendor contracts, and making sure every dollar is optimized, you’ll be the financial gatekeeper and strategist
  • Project Oversight: Ensure our various programs and projects (our 'book of work') are on target and strategically aligned with what the business is trying to achieve
  • People Operations: You'll handle the logistics of our most important asset: our people! This includes workforce strategy, managing the hiring and onboarding process, ensuring compliance for contractors, and even where everyone sits
  • Governance & Clarity: You’ll help maintain the core organizational structure and prepare compelling reports and presentations for our leadership

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Finance or Business Management (within the financial services)
  • A relevant Bachelor's Degree (Finance/Accounting/preferred)
  • Excel wizard and great with PowerPoint/data analysis tools
  • Clear, concise communicator
  • Natural at building relationships and keeping all key players on the same page
  • True self-starter who is highly proactive and can manage your work autonomously
  • Proven ability to collaborate and forge strong ties with partners both inside and outside the company
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and handle multiple competing demands without getting stressed out
