Job Description:

As Financial Analyst, you will be part of the FP&A team with a focus on operating expenses. In this role, you will be working and engaging closely with multiple business leaders and partners across the organization to support the planning cycles (Strat plan, Budget, Forecasts), analyze and report the operating expenses areas across EMEA markets. In this role, you will also be able to support initiatives to improve business performance by working alongside leadership to size up risks and opportunities and facilitate decision making. You will be exposed to a variety of projects and ad-hoc analysis in addition to owning end-to-end processes for your areas. It is expected that you are comfortable working autonomously on initiatives and building and owning relationships with business leaders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the month-end closing process in collaboration with accounting and budget owners
  • Create expenses analyses, reports and presentations for key stakeholders as required
  • Participate and support key financial projects
  • Statutory reporting for EMEA markets (e.g., standard reports, statistics)
  • Support the financial planning and controlling of EMEA expenses
  • Preparation of management reporting and ad-hoc analysis of EMEA expenses
  • Assist in the annual and long-term planning processes for FLE
  • Preparation of presentations to key stakeholders including reporting packages

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance & Accounting or equivalent
  • 2-3 years relevant working experience
  • Prior experience in FP&A is a plus
  • Exposure to Retail or E-commerce environment would be a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is mandatory
  • Power BI knowledge would be a plus
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytically strong
  • Team player who can work independently
  • High level of self-accountability
  • Can meet tight deadlines and moving priorities
