Job Description

The Financial Analyst will provide functional and analytical support to the Global Finance team working closely with the business to deliver an understanding of the financial position and performance.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with functional and regional business leaders to assist with monthly and quarterly reforecast
  • Assist with monthly flux analysis by explaining key variance drivers for business leaders
  • Help enhance or create effective financial and non-financial sorting from multiple data sources
  • Responsible for maintaining weekly cash forecast model
  • Assist with preparation of annual operating budget
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in Finance (professional services organization a plus)
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience, particularly Excel
  • Experience using Workday Financials a plus
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like PowerBI, Domo, and Tableau
  • High level understanding of GAAP accounting
  • Self-starter, ambitious, and ability to utilize own initiative to deliver necessary work

  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes
  • Develop data-driven presentations and insightful business commentary with conclusions, reconciliations, and recommendations for the Executive Leadership Team and the Board on a monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc basis
  • Work with large and complex datasets to analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), and business drivers
  • Boost the organization’s financial decision-making process through the analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends
  • Drive value within the business through margin enhancement, lowering costs and driving operational efficiencies
