Job Responsibility

  • Handle P&L consolidation of 15 EMEA Reinsurance clusters/23 countries
  • Prepare templates for the countries for consolidation activities, check and challenge submitted data by the countries for reasonableness
  • Drive the consolidation of monthly closing, reporting, forecasting and annual budgeting process
  • Cooperate with local country CFOs/Finance Teams
  • Analyze and interpret P&L financial information to support EMEA leadership decisions
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for EMEA leadership
  • Supervise and mentor one colleague in Krakow
  • Report directly to EMEA Reinsurance Finance Lead

Requirements

  • Completed high school education
  • 3–4 years of experience with accounting firm (audit, assurance, or advisory), ideally Big4 is a plus
  • Experience with end‑to‑end ownership of the P&L
  • Solid understanding of accounting processes, controls, and financial analysis
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to work with VBA is a plus, building VBA competency going forward is expected
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP)
  • Proficiency in English
