Job Responsibility
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will serve as a critical member of the plant's finance team, driving a balanced portfolio across both core manufacturing accounting and financial planning & analysis functions
In this role, you will act as a key commercial partner and financial advisor to plant operations, overseeing performance management, budget controls, and cost variance analysis
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost optimization opportunities, streamline product costing processes, and evaluate capital expenditure investments
Additionally, you will play a central role in inventory governance, driving accurate management reporting and coordinating periodic operational reviews to support strategic decision-making
Requirements
Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation
Relevant years of progressive finance experience in a similar costing role within a manufacturing environment
Strong technical understanding of absorption costing, variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, product bills of materials (BOMs), and inventory management
Proficiency in ERP systems (General Ledger, Cost Management, and Fixed Assets) with strong data extraction and analysis skills
Prior background or familiarity with Microsoft Applications, Oracle, and Business Objects is highly preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of working collaboratively across diverse departments
Excellent analytical mindset, great attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex data into actionable business insights
