Job Responsibility:
Monitor assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and initiate the collection process
Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email to discuss payment status and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and customer interactions within the internal database
Collaborate with the credit and sales departments to investigate and resolve billing issues
Process incoming payments and ensure they are applied correctly to the appropriate accounts
Prepare regular reports on delinquent accounts and progress made toward collection targets
Escalate complex or high-risk accounts to senior management as required by company policy
Audit account information to ensure compliance with internal financial guidelines
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
Strong administrative aptitude with a focus on data accuracy and file management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Ability to learn new software systems quickly and navigate complex databases with ease
High level of professional maturity and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion
Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
A positive, "can-do" attitude and a desire to build a career within a world-class financial institution
Nice to have:
familiarity with VLOOKUPs or Pivot Tables is a plus
