Financial Accountant

• Active role in the monthly financial closing cycle, includes reconciling balance sheet accounts, recording journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger
• Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements
• Assist with internal and external business audits
• Act as a speaking partner for Accounting services providing technical accounting advice within area of expertise
• Oversee and approve special procedures in relation to the defined Accounting services
• Provide input regarding needed changes, inefficiencies or other possible issue

• Accounting Degree preferred
• Ideally 3+ years of accounting experience
• Must be detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic
• Travel up to 10% of the time (domestic)

Experience with SAP or Power BI a plus
