Citadel Source is delighted to partner with an evolving services business to support the recruitment of their new Financial Accountant on a permanent contract. This is a great opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join the team in a hybrid role, split between Bristol and Devon for one day per week in each location, with the on-site presence in Devon reducing after the first 3-6 months. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll take responsibility for key areas of financial accounting, helping to ensure accurate and timely reporting across the group. It’s a hands-on role with a broad remit, covering everything from month-end through to statutory reporting and business support. It would suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail but also wants to understand how the numbers feed into the wider business.

Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, and commentary)
Posting and reviewing key journals (accruals, prepayments, payroll, VAT, intercompany)
