Job Description:

Citadel Source is partnering with a growing retail brand in Somerset to recruit a Financial Accountant for a 12 month fixed term contract. The primary purpose of this position is to manage consolidations for the organisation and prepare the monthly reporting pack.

Job Responsibility:

Manage consolidations for the organisation
Prepare the monthly reporting pack
Responsible for the initial preparation of the monthly group consolidation
Oversee systems processes, month end reconciliations and financial reporting
Preparation of assigned schedules in monthly and year-end reporting pack
Review of fixed asset ownership report
Regular review of the group fixed asset register for discrepancies and disposals
Ad-hoc project work as requested by Financial Controller

Requirements:

Proven experience in group consolidations and reporting
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Part-qualified/qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to work with large data sets and present findings clearly to finance and non-finance colleagues
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of complex financial systems (ideally)
