We are seeking an experienced, hands-on FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT to join our senior finance leadership team, reporting directly to the Director of Finance. This role supports two of London’s most prestigious membership clubs, MAISON ESTELLE and CELESTE, alongside the Group holding company.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain the Legal and Statutory framework
Compliance with updated Accounting Standards
Ensure National Statistics Returns are compliant
HMRC – regulatory, payroll and VAT returns are returned on time
MTD Companies House returns
Ownership of the tracking of the capex spends
Compliance and sign offs being followed
Take full ownership of the balance sheet, ensuring all balances are accurate, clearly understood, and regularly reconciled
Implement controls and processes to support accurate reporting and risk management
Develop the group consolidation reporting ensuring accuracy and up to date of the current status
Support both internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulations
Maintain a strong control environment
Support training and progression of team members
Requirements:
Qualified or qualified-by-experience finance professional with strong technical accounting expertise
Proven experience leading finance teams in a multi-entity or group environment
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and confident operating across all aspects of the accounting function
A strong communicator, able to engage and influence both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to continuous improvement
