The Financial Accountant role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial support across core accounting functions within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position requires strong attention to detail, initiative in resolving issues, and a continuous focus on improving processes and efficiencies.
Job Responsibility:
Process payments to internal and external stakeholders
Perform bank, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations
Complete fixed asset reconciliations
Manage banking and treasury activities, including ad hoc invoice payments
Track and process internal financial transactions
Prepare and reconcile expense claims and gift card processing
Assist with monthly reporting including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet preparation
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end clean-up
Assist with audit workpapers and respond to audit queries
Support stakeholders with financial queries and reporting needs
Identify and contribute to process improvements and workflow efficiencies
Assist with system implementations and finance improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance, accounting, commerce, or a related field
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or similar (completed or in progress)
CPA or CA qualification highly desirable
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Proven teamwork and collaboration skills
Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced and changing environment
Strong time management and ability to perform under pressure
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Customer-focused mindset with strong business awareness
Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven approach
