Job Responsibility

  • Manage general accounting activities in accordance with French accounting principles.
  • Record daily accounting transactions.
  • Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and monthly balance reviews.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and notes to the accounts.
  • Support tax filings and administrative deadlines.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement within the accounting function

Requirements

  • Fluent French and English (written and spoken). Spanish or Portuguese are a plus.
  • Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of French accounting principles and IFRS.
  • Good understanding of basic French tax requirements.
  • Knowledge of Excel.
  • High accuracy, reliability, and independence in managing tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

Spanish or Portuguese are a plus.
