Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is starting their career in finance or accounting. As a Finance Trainee / Data Entry Clerk, you will support the finance team with essential administrative and data-related tasks while gaining valuable industry experience and exposure to a range of finance functions by a Finance Manager.

Job Responsibility:

Entering and updating financial data in company systems with a high degree of accuracy
Assisting in processing invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
Supporting month-end and year-end financial processes
Reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
Filing and organising financial records
Communicating with internal departments and external vendors where necessary
Assisting the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects

Requirements:

A strong interest in finance, accounting, or business administration
Basic understanding of financial principles is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Good organisational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to have:

Studying towards (or recently completed) a degree/diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Previous experience in data entry or a finance-related role is advantageous but not essential
