Job Description:

The Tax Reporting & Digitalisation team within EDP GBS is strengthening the Business Development R&D team by recruiting a Finance (Tax) Technology & Digitalization professional.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and design templates to help the team to calculate taxes in a more automatic way
  • Developing automatic solutions to help the tax team avoiding recurrent duties
  • Help the compliance teams to develop solutions to increase the efficiency of the Tax function
  • Investigate the digital mechanisms to communicate with the tax administrations from all the world to be able to send tax returns or tax information effectively
  • Collaborate with the design and implementation of internal tools that allow the automation of mechanic compliance tax functions and/or improve the tax controlling environment at EDP Group
  • Prepare and design reporting models to help the compliance teams and provide management with useful tax information on a regular basis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, tax, data or business analysis, or a related field (preferably with some background in the digital area)
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in digitalizing processes is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Power Query)
  • Well-rounded SAP is required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate or UiPath is a plus
  • Hands-on, open, creative and keen to work in a team
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
  • Innovative, self-motivated and detailed-oriented
  • Sound organizational skills and process driven mentally
  • Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects and multiple countries
