Job Responsibility

  • Take ownership of the Finance System (Booking Trust) across our RMbW Resorts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity in financial reporting
  • Partner with internal teams and Booking Trust support to ensure system compliance with accounting standards and Trust regulations
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accurate allocation of payments and system imports
  • Investigate discrepancies and implement timely adjustments or corrections within the system
  • Maintain accurate ledgers and controls, ensuring outstanding reservations and balances are current and well-managed
  • Review weekly travel agent commission recoveries and perform bi-weekly and pre-roll report checks against Letting Management Agreements (LMAs)
  • Prepare month-end financial reports for RMbW accountants with a high level of accuracy and insight
  • Issue owner statements following monthly payouts
  • Support the Finance team during external Trust Account audits

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified in Accounting or related field
  • Hands-on experience with finance systems (trust accounting exposure highly regarded)
  • Familiarity with hotel or resort property management systems is an advantage
  • Experience in hospitality or resort accounting preferred
  • Solid understanding of internal controls within a hospitality environment
  • CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) is highly desirable
  • Intermediate Excel skills (reconciliations, data handling, reporting)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across on-site and remote teams
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and accountability

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with hotel or resort property management systems
  • Experience in hospitality or resort accounting
  • CPA or CA qualification (or working towards)
