Job Description:

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Finance Solutions Senior Manager for its Tampa, FL location. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Job Responsibility:

  • Apply mathematical or statistical techniques to address practical issues in finance, such as derivative valuation, securities trading, risk management, or financial market regulation
  • Research or develop analytical tools to address issues such as portfolio construction or optimization, performance measurement, attribution, profit and loss measurement, or pricing models
  • Develop core analytical capabilities or model libraries, using advanced statistical, quantitative, or econometric techniques
  • Define or recommend model specifications or data collection methods
  • Devise or apply independent models or tools to help verify results of analytical systems
  • Collaborate in the development or testing of new analytical software to ensure compliance with user requirements, specifications, or scope
  • Confer with other financial engineers or analysts on trading strategies, market dynamics, or trading system performance to inform development of quantitative techniques
  • Collaborate with product development teams to research, model, validate, or implement quantitative structured solutions for new or expanded markets
  • Collaborate to prepare requirements documentation for use by software developers
  • Contribute to the design, roll-out, and governance of financial solutions
  • Participate in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization, and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions, and locations
  • Assist in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance
  • Play a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and starts for global Finance processes
  • Participate in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory, and market information needs into finance processes and applications
  • Advise on directional strategy by analyzing subject matter and its application in own job and the business
  • Act as a technical expert to advise on significant business/product decisions
  • Implement policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties and functions as assigned
  • Operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
  • Act as SME for senior stakeholders and /or other team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
  • Six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation performing UAT integration testing and providing financial analysis within the financial industry
  • Six (6) years of experience must include: Performing global requirements/user acceptance testing (UAT) for financial applications through Change Management to enable Finance Transformation
  • Developing requirements/UAT Testing Team across cultures and regions to ensure team consistently meets performance metrics and provide effective customer service
  • Assessing risks in areas including systems, data, models, procedures, regulatory requirements, governance, and analytics
  • Examining and resolving gaps in the requirements/UAT process to look for process improvements and to ensure adherence with established policies and milestone timelines
  • Establishing standardized KPI’s, reporting metrics, and measurements for overall global requirements/UAT process to monitor capacity, performance, productivity, and quality in adherence to Risk and Control requirements
  • Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives, standardization, or automation ideas to increase productivity and efficiency, reduce cycle of processing time, and reduce error rates, by defining process narratives and documenting workflows
  • Designing and implementing solutions to keep a large, matrix-network of team members informed, including building and maintaining SharePoint Online intranet sites, email newsletters, and tactics leveraging Microsoft Teams
