Job Description

As a Finance SAP Administrator on our team, you will provide technical and accounting support to our global finance organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with business teams to understand and configure SAP to meet consolidation, legal, and management reporting requirements
  • Oversee monthly SAP financial closing duties such as opening & closing accounting periods and modules, FX maintenance processes, backup of key tables, and running audit reports
  • Support General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Purchasing Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Asset Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable processes in SAP ECC 6.0 Environment
  • Work with global business teams to standardize & improve SAP system functionality and to drive business team improvements in efficiency and quality of reporting
  • Work as the FICO project leader on future system implementations (including SAP S/4 HANA)
  • Lead or assist with SAP integration to 3rd party bolt on tools
  • Provide post-implementation support and problem resolution
  • Partner in developing and implementing end-user training and materials for internal associates and all field locations
  • Perform SAP Finance/RTR sensitive role security reviews ensuring proper segregation of duties and restricted access to sensitive financial roles
  • Support corporate month / year end processes utilizing FDMEE / HFM applications

Requirements

  • 4+ yrs proven SAP FICO configuration and design experience in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA environments
  • 4+ yrs practical experience with integration of FI, SD, DTS and MM SAP modules
  • Experience maintaining SAP reports, Sets, and understanding of tax code settings on account masters
  • Working knowledge of SAP FICO Master Data
  • Working knowledge of Financial data retention process
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP
  • 4 year finance / accounting or financial systems college degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal English communications skills
  • Knowledge of Special Ledgers, SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4 HANA
  • Experience with New GL and parallel ledgers
  • Multi-location, multi-country experience

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of IFRS, Statutory reporting, VAT reporting will be a plus
  • Working knowledge of other languages would be beneficial
