Job Description:

Finance Risk 1LOD Lead Analyst role at Citi focused on administering and supervising management of organizational capital resources, undertaking comprehensive evaluation, reporting, monitoring positions versus risk appetite, and overseeing risks associated with various financial assets including interest rate, foreign exchange, equity, credit spread, and commodity risks.

Job Responsibility:

Develop risk management strategy for Finance function
Ensure compliance with risk-related regulatory requirements
Conduct independent assurance reviews in risk management
Devise and maintain risk policy and procedure governance documents
Enhance governance structure for managing financial risks
Monitor risk reports and indicators
Assist in consolidating and reviewing risk-related materials for committees
Utilize effective communication skills to share insights with stakeholders
Contribute to development of comprehensive controls and automation
Foster strong control environment within the team

Requirements:

6-10 years of experience
Prior experience in Finance, Treasury, Risk or Audit functions
Experience managing large datasets and extrapolating insights for various risk metrics
Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and guidance for interest rate risk, liquidity risk and market risk
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong attention to detail
Exceptional project management skills
Conceptual thinker and problem-solver
Strong audit instincts
Ability to independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently
Ability to effectively challenge first line and escalate issues
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
Additional finance focused education or certification (CFA, CPA, FRM) will be beneficial

Nice to have:

Experience with Tableau, SQL, SP&P CapIQ/SNL, or Bloomberg
Master's degree
