Coordinate the annual audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors
Act as a strategic business partner to the Plant Manager, providing insights into manufacturing variances, labor productivity, and overhead absorption
Oversee standard costing maintenance and participate in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles
Monitor CAPEX investments, tracking actual spend against project milestones and ROI targets
Review inventory valuation and lead the strategy for E&O (Excess & Obsolete) provisioning
Direct the local finance structure, working in tandem with the Financial Operations Manager to ensure seamless AP/AR and payroll integration
Mentor and develop a team of junior subordinates, driving a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
Ensure local compliance regarding Malaysian tax (SST, Corporate Tax) and Transfer Pricing documentation in coordination with group tax policies
