Job Responsibility

  • Periodic monitoring and review of regulatory rules to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and reporting changes are timely captured and correctly implemented
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders and colleagues and work closely with all functions/products/business units in performing activities
  • Help implement a remediation plan to address issues identified during the validation
  • Perform periodic testing and validation of relevant Regulatory Reporting rules and requirements, in line with reporting instructions
  • Liaise effectively with multiple departments on a regular basis
  • Proactively identify, escalate and assist in resolving issues identified through the periodic review exercises
  • Maintenance and further enhancement of control environment applicable to the framework and infrastructure of the International Conformance Testing program
  • Ensure that procedures, process notes and policies are up-to-date and applied correctly to cover relevant rules and regulations
  • Provide support to internal/external audit reviews
  • Participate in projects to implement any new or changing regulatory requirements and enhancing the International Conformance Testing team’s framework and infrastructure

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/University degree in Finance Accounting or Economics
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in banking accounting / reporting / controlling / risk management
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Knowledge of main regulatory reporting rules and instructions, Finance processes and controls
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent would be beneficial
