Job Description:

This is a key role within the Commercial Finance team in EE and critical in the delivery of the Consumer financial plan. This role is a key support for the Head of Mobile Trading finance with exposure to the Director community.

Job Responsibility:

  • Weekly Consumer trading volume outlook for the Quarter, aligned with commercial teams
  • Ensure cross functional alignment on volume performance and onward outlook
  • Delivery of weekly, monthly, and annual reporting and analysis of trading performance. Presenting findings and recommendations up to Head of and Director level
  • Align on robust, interlocked volume targets to underpin Budget and rolling forecast processes
  • Business partner support for the Commercial Trading and Marketing teams, Supply chain and wider finance areas
  • Support the business in understanding Mobile trading volume performance, driving improvement and corrective action influencing key stakeholders
  • Review of longer term performance trends, using analysis to influence decision making and drive change
  • Work with Data and reporting teams to enhance trading performance data and ensure integrity of KPIs socialised

Requirements:

  • Communication skills - translating outcomes to senior financial and nonfinancial stakeholders through both oral and written communication
  • Strong data skills – enhance reporting across functions, and able to manage complex large data sets
  • Planning, forecasting & reporting experience
  • Part qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or someone intending to study

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Fast moving goods industry is preferable but not essential
